Tale
Trapped on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put their differences aside and come together in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat.
Mentioned on Korman Productions Deep Dive TV Podcast: Teacup on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 “Think About the Bubbles”/”My Little Lighthouse” (2024)
As soon as the blue line came on, I immediately thought of “Lost” and “Under the Dome,” two other shows where people are trapped somewhere and there is some mysterious danger they must avoid.
It is not natural for people not to ask the obvious questions
It is very poorly written, as there are many scenes where the simple question of “why” is never asked, thus misleading us as they have done before.
It takes more than just terrible music to not notice how lazy the script is
This show has potential because of the tension between the characters, but the isolation/mystery element is just another run on an island or dome.
I’ll still watch it, but the slow pace won’t hold my attention for very long
At this pace it’s too boring, and I’m not as stupid as they make me out to be.
